About the ProjectThe Escape Act is based on true events in the life of Irene Bento-Storm, a young Jewish acrobat who, along her family, survived the Holocaust hiding and working at the German Althoff Circus. It is a one-woman theater show combining circus and puppets, traveling with a complementary exhibition.
